Well, it has been a long time since I wrote something here. There are so many ups and downs in life, and I manage to get going through the life. Alhamdulillah.
This past few weeks I have learnt a valuable lesson that one has to believe in oneself. We cannot wait for Ahmed, or Sufiah, or Ah Lee and Siva to believe us, so that we can press the paddle and accelerate ourselves on the road to success.
Of course there are setbacks, I myself might be overweight and not good-looking, so early on I believed that the intended speed of walking was never going to exceed even the slowest runner's record, but there was time when I felt so high that running down the hill was so smooth and I managed to get the Jayyid Jiddan grade sooner than I expected!
The lesson here, why do I look down on myself and try to compare myself with others? God creates me for myself, and if I am to look down on myself, I am actually undermining the work of God.
